What Britain (and America) sowed in 2026

Every sowing, harvest, packet scan and journal entry in GrowMore CookMore is logged by a real gardener on a real plot. Put them together and you get something nobody else in gardening has: what people actually sowed this year, when, and which varieties they'd bother with again. Not what the catalogues say. What happened.

These are counts, never names. A crop only shows once three or more gardeners have sown it. The page rebuilds itself every hour, so if you're reading this in September, that's how far the year's got. Quote it, link it, argue with it in the club.

A gardener counts once per crop however many times they sowed it. Sowings by month use the date the gardener gave the sowing, not the day they typed it in. Grow-again votes are one per gardener per variety, from the button in the Seed Tin. Region comes from the gardener's own setting in the app. Scan counts include packets, plant labels and plug trays. Nothing here can be traced to a person, and we don't show a crop until three or more people are behind it.
