  2. Divide between two bowls. Arrange fresh mulberries, sliced banana, and granola on top. Sprinkle with chia seeds and drizzle with a little extra honey.About 5 min

Tips

  • The key is keeping the base very thick — use minimal liquid. If too runny, add more frozen fruit.
  • Freeze ripe mulberries at peak season on a baking sheet, then bag them up for smoothie bowls all winter.
  • Use the tamper on your blender if it has one; otherwise add 1–2 tbsp milk if it won't blend.

Ring the changes

  • Add 1 tbsp almond butter to the base for extra richness and protein.
  • Top with shredded coconut and cacao nibs for a tropical-chocolate twist.

Keeping it

Best eaten immediately. The blended base can be stored frozen in an airtight container for up to 1 month; thaw slightly before eating.
