- 6 medium patio tomatoes, diced, seeds removed
- 8 slices sourdough bread
- 2 garlic cloves, 1 minced, 1 halved for rubbing
- 4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh basil, torn
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt
- 1 pinch black pepper, freshly ground
