Pawpaw Pudding

Ingredients
- 2 cups ripe pawpaw pulp, seeds and skins removed
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ tsp salt

Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.About 5 min

- In a large bowl, whisk together pawpaw pulp, milk, cream, eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.About 3 min
- Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together, then fold into the wet mixture until just combined.About 3 min
- Pour batter into prepared dish and bake for 45 minutes until set in the center — a knife inserted near the center should come out clean. The top will be lightly browned.About 45 min

Tips
